About SkinPen

What to Expect
For those new to SkinPen and microneedling, we recommend three initial treatments approximately four weeks apart to “jump-start” your cellular response and maximize results. After the initial series of three, we recommend semi-annual treatments to keep collagen and elastin formation at peak levels while ensuring significant skin cell turn-over.
Maintain your results with consistent use of sunscreen and a good skincare regimen that may involve retinoids (or Tretinoin) and an exfoliant.
A Note About PRP: Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a wonderful add-on to your SkinPen procedure. We use the platelets in your own blood to saturate the micro-channels, encouraging your skin to soak up the platelets and growth peptides through the thousands of micro-channels just created. We find patients heal faster and achieve approximately 20% more improvement when PRP is used.
