A. When evaluating a patient for their cosmetic concerns many factors must be considered. We are able to cosmetically enhance many areas of the body, but the face and hands are common locations for fillers. Fillers are a group of compounds that generally replace volume. Each filler is unique and has specific properties that must be considered. No matter what filler we use, our goal is always to create a natural look. For instance, around the cheeks we are looking for a filler which is firmer, offering support and structure. For the lips we are looking for a softer, more flexible filler.
