Q. What can be done to regrow my hair?
A. Hair loss in areas that have scarred over may be permanently lost, but if the hair follicle is still healthy there is a good chance we can get the hair to regrow. Treatment ranges from topicals, to injectable treatments, to oral medications, to hair transplantation. Permanent hair restoration involves taking hair from healthy areas and moving it to areas with hair loss (called hair grafting). This is an effective treatment for both scarring hair loss that is no longer active and non-scarring hair loss.
